The ABOT eSort Receiving System….Unload, Manifest, Open and sort product right on the receiving dock in one process. That is exactly what receiving dock operations can do when they utilize the modular ABOT Box Opener with eSort Receiving sorter. These two systems utilize the same 24v DC Conveyor, drive and control technology, so when an Ethernet Cable connects both units, they automatically recognize each other and operate as a complete receiving system. This entire system mounts on casters and can be moved around the dock from door to door very easily. When not in use it automatically folds up with the push of a button and stores nicely under pallet rack. The sorter can be easily re-configured on the fly to add or reduce sort destinations. This unit is ideal for Large Retail Stores that need to unload trucks, quickly, accurately and have the boxes opened ready to replenish the store front in Real Time. Innovation Statement
This is the first mobile & modular sorter / box-cutter system that can plug in to a 110v outlet or other single power source and run. With the push of a button it automatically deploys or retracts to be stored away when not in use. Both units utilize the exact same 24v DC Conveyor, Drives and Controls with eSort control cards that automatically & intelligently recognize each other and run one program to operate as a system. The sorter can run at 30 boxes per minute while the ABOT box opener will open 12 boxes per minute. The heavy-duty construction of the ABOT eSort Receiving system is intended for use on receiving docks.
Applicability
This System is ideal for receiving and processing boxes at large retail stores and returns facilities with 3PL’s having a variety of uses for the system as well. This system can easily be fixed in place and is very heavy-duty for the dock environment.
